Worked example: move page 3 to the front
After uploading a 5-page PDF, the page list shows "Page 1" through "Page 5" in their original order. Each row has only an up and a down button — no drag-and-drop, and no field to jump straight to a target position. Moving page 3 to the front takes 2 clicks of the up button; the up button on the first row and the down button on the last row are disabled so a page cannot move out of range.
The downloaded file is always named reordered.pdf; it does not reuse the original filename (the Rotate PDF tool, by contrast, appends -rotated to the source name). If you are reordering several documents in the same session, rename each download yourself to avoid one overwriting another.
File limits, what happens when loading fails, and which PDF tool to use
A 40MB file-size ceiling is hard-coded in the script (going over it shows an error and stops), which is the most generous limit among this batch of PDF tools: PDF to Image caps at 25MB, while Rotate PDF has no file-size check at all. An encrypted or password-protected PDF fails at the loading step with "The PDF could not be loaded" and never reaches the page list.
This tool only moves whole pages around and never touches page content. If some pages also need rotating, use the Rotate PDF tool separately; the two tools do not call each other. To confirm correctness, reopen the downloaded PDF and check header text or a page-number watermark against the expected order, rather than just checking that the total page count is unchanged.

Load a PDF and confirm pages list in their original order
Upload a 5-page PDF: the page list shows five rows labeled “Page 1” through “Page 5” in that order, each with an Up and Down button — reordering only happens by repeatedly clicking these two buttons to move a page one position at a time. The buttons at either end of the list are disabled automatically (Up is disabled on the first row, Down on the last), so you cannot click past either end.

Move Page 5 to the top using the Up button four times, then click Download reordered PDF: the saved file has the original page 5 as its new first page, with pages 1 through 4 following in their new relative order. The output is always saved with the fixed filename “reordered.pdf” regardless of the source file’s name, so rename it after downloading if you need to distinguish it from the original.
Choosing a new file resets any reordering you had done
The Reset button, and selecting a different file in the upload field, both discard the current page list entirely and start over — there is no undo for a single move, and there is no way to combine pages from more than one PDF into a single output; the tool only rearranges pages within one uploaded document. Files larger than 40 MB are rejected before the page list even loads.

After loading the PDF, compare page labels, headers, and content continuity before moving pages. Reopen the downloaded file and inspect the beginning, middle, and end to confirm that no page is missing or duplicated.
Arrange report appendices
Place appendices in citation order while keeping the original PDF as a backup. Reordering pages does not rebuild a table of contents, printed page numbers, bookmarks, or internal document links.
