How to Download and Organize Images from a Multi-page PDF

Problem

After conversion, a folder may contain page-1, page-2, and so on without the original section name or proof that the last page exists. Saving multiple PDFs to one folder can also create duplicate names, automatic parentheses, or overwrites.

Formula and concept

FunnyTools creates a separate preview and download link for each page, using filenames such as `page-1.png` or `page-1.jpg`. That is convenient for single-page use, but create a folder named after the source PDF before downloading multiple documents.

The current tool accepts one PDF up to 25 MB and 20 pages, with a per-page canvas-area guard to avoid exhausting browser memory. These are tool limits, not universal PDF limits; split the source or use a desktop workflow when it exceeds them.

Choose PNG or JPG for the next task. Text, tables, lines, and barcodes often benefit from PNG’s clean edges; photo-heavy pages or smaller attachments often suit JPG. After choosing, zoom into every page—an extension alone does not guarantee clarity.

Keep the download order aligned with the source. Download all pages, then sort numerically; lexical sorting can place page-10 before page-2, and thumbnails alone may hide a sequence error. If rebuilding a PDF, use the reorder tool or clear numeric prefixes.

PDF.js is a browser-side PDF parsing and rendering project (https://mozilla.github.io/pdf.js/). The tool reads the file on the device and creates Blob previews; those object URLs are released when the page is left. That does not remove every local-device risk, so follow your shared-device cleanup policy after downloading.

1. Confirm the PDF is under 25 MB and no more than 20 pages, and note the source filename.
